Preparatory School

Grades 3 to 5!

The Preparatory years are from Grade 3 to Grade 5 and lay the framework for academic success in middle school, high school, college, and beyond! Our dedicated teachers, outstanding academics, and varied enrichment classes all contribute to a challenging, yet nurturing program. Small classroom sizes allow a personalized approach for each student—irrespective of whether your child is academically gifted or has learning differences. Excellent achievement scores illustrate our academic success and happy, well-rounded children reflect our positive learning environment.

The key learning tools that form part of our programme are:

  • Literacy Development: Emphasis on phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and early writing skills to strengthen communication abilities.
  • Numeracy Skills: Introducing basic mathematical concepts such as number recognition, counting, addition, subtraction, shapes, and patterns to build a strong numerical foundation.
  • Cognitive and Analytical Skills: Engaging in problem-solving activities, puzzles, and simple experiments to develop logical thinking, reasoning, and inquiry.
  • Social and Emotional Learning: Supporting self-awareness, empathy, teamwork, and conflict resolution, ensuring that children are emotionally prepared for future challenges.
  • Creative Expression: Opportunities for artistic exploration through drawing, painting, music, and drama, encouraging imagination and creativity.
  • Physical Development: Activities aimed at improving motor skills, coordination, and overall physical health through structured play and outdoor activities.

The Preparatory School Curriculum emphasizes balanced growth, ensuring that children are academically, socially, and emotionally ready to transition into primary school with confidence and enthusiasm.
